THE SCOOP: 1980s opulence was in the air at Walter. Designer Walter Baker was inspired by "people who live their life in a bubble," a la the decade of decadence before, well, said bubble burst. The beauty was luxurious, with an edge. "The hair is a nod to the 80's - in the most tasteful sense," said Blischke. "We took the best elements of the decade - big hair, big perms and punk rock 'dos - for an edgy style that's also feminine." That translated to one of the more interesting styles we've seen this fashion week - hair with spongy curls on one side, and a tight, thick cornroll braid on the other. Make was sultry and smudgy, with a decidedly slept-in look. Makeup artist Viviana Martin explained: "We went back to the 80s with lots of dark browns, gold shimmers and faded out black liner. Nothing hard - very soft."

GET THE LOOK - MAKEUP: All makeup by Stila. Lids were layered with Eye Shadow in Dune and Tolimou, along with the Smokey Eye Palette. Espresso Onyx Kajal Liner and Smudge Pot in Black were used to line the eyes for extra smolder. Cheeks were contoured with Sun Bronzer and Peony Convertible Color. And lips were shiny and nude thanks to Lip Glaze in Praline.

GET THE LOOK - HAIR: Lots of Tony & Guy Rockaholic Dirty Secret Dry Shampoo was used for soft, pliable volume. Blischke explained: "A great tip for successfully braiding your hair is to use dry shampoo. It makes the hair more malleable, with less flyaways, and the hair will better stay in place when you're winding it into a braid."
