To celebrate Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, nail care company Essie launched a chic new polish exclusively for tent-goers. We stopped by the backstage Mercedes-Benz lounge to chat with Essie Weingarten (as in the Essie) about her cool new color, Capri Blue, a shimmering dark navy inspired by sleek, midnight blue 2010 E-Class luxury vehicles from 'Benz.

Capri Blue is only available at the tents, but if you have to have it, Essie said that Midnight Cami from her fall collection is almost an exact match. But if you can only buy one color for fall, she recommended the plummy Angora Cardi, which Essie said "is perfect for fall because it goes with everything." Looking to try out the matte nails trend? Essie suggested Matte About You -- a mattifying top coat that takes the shine off any nail polish (no need to buy extra colors!).

Essie also admitted that she thinks the gray nail polish craze will look tired come spring, and that she predicts a lot of sheer, pretty hues.

But most importantly -- Essie dished out her own personal pick for a great mani/pedi. If you're in NYC, go visit Josephine at the Samuel Shriqui salon on E. 65th street.

Now that's a recommendation I trust!
