THE SCOOP:
Betsey Johnson's Spring 2010 collection has the spirit of the ultimate "punk prom night." And the hair and makeup took the edgy and tulle-rific fashions to higher level.

Peter Gray created a variety of textured styles - from spiky mohawks to asymmetrical, braided updos - topped with tulle headpieces to celebrate the individuality of each girl. "We wanted hair to look half-done and funked up," said Gray. "So we used a combination of two mousses."

Sarah Lucero's makeup look is derived from a story about a young girl who meets a guy from the wrong side of the tracks, while having a drink at The Plaza Hotel (ironically, the location of Johnson's presentation). And the disheveled finish, is the aftermath of said girl's one-night stand. How naughty?

GET THE LOOK - HAIR:
All products by Redken. For crazed, yet beautiful hair, wet locks with Full Frame 07 Protective Volumizing Mousse and Aerate 08 Bodifying Cream-Mousse. Blow-dry and work fingers throughout to tousle. For a firm finish, set with Forceful 23 Super Strength Finishing Spray.

GET THE LOOK - MAKEUP:
All makeup by Stila. To mimic this sultry look, prep face with Hydrating Primer SPF 15 and Perfecting Concealer. Smooth All Over Shimmer Liquid Luminizer in #1 and #2 across cheeks. Line eyes with Kajal Eye Liner in Onyx and blend in shadows from the Spring Celestial Palette - keeping the center of the eye open. Layer on lots of Major Lash Mascara, and paint pucker with Lip Glaze and Enameled Lips for intense shine. Sprinkle on red and purple glitter for a dramatic effect.
