MAKEUP: Romy Soleimani for M.A.C
HAIR: Kevin Ryan for RSession Tools
NAILS: CND Creative Nail Design
SNAPSHOT: Sunny and sweet with a hint of 80's edge

THE SCOOP:
Michelle Smith is adored for the trademark combo of frilly, girly and fun that defines her clothing line Milly. And for Spring 2010, her contagious optimism carried through to the beauty department "The look is very 80's with a high side pony," said Ryan. "Young girls, 22 and under, look so cute with this hairstyle. It is playful and sweet and it swings as you walk." Soleimani used bronzer to add warmth to the skin for a youthful freshness that complements the playful quality of the hair.

GET THE LOOK - MAKEUP: All makeup by M.A.C. Use Sun Dressing for a sheer and natural looking tan. Apply Golden Bronzer on the cheekbones to make them appear higher, while adding extra warmth to the skin. On lips, apply only a clear coat of balm.

GET THE LOOK - HAIR: Pull the hair together at the top of your head, push it to the side and fasten into a high side ponytail, making sure to smooth out bumps. Use a hooked elastic from the RSession Tools Pinup Girl Kit at the base of the ponytail to ensure security. Create a tight, crunchy texture by spraying Bumble and Bumble Does It All Styling Spray and spray closer to the head than you normally would. Finish by tying a big bow around the side pony, using bobbi pins to keep it in place.

GET THE LOOK - NAILS: Apply only one sheer coat of CND Colour Effects Nail Polish in Marshmallow Rose (#508) on the fingernails for a hint of pink. Follow up with a clear top coat for extra shine.
