Michelle Obama Goes Back to Her Signature Style - It's a Cinch

There may be new trends aplenty at New York Fashion Week, but Michelle Obama is returning to her signature style.

Today on the White House's South Lawn, the President and Mrs. O hosted, among others, judo competitors and fencing champions to support Chicago's bid for the 2016 Olympics.

Dressed in a teal cardigan, yellow layering tee and printed floral skirt, the First Lady brought back the belted-over look with a Sacai cincher. She also donned her favorite green Jimmy Choo "Glacier" kitten heels for taking in the sporting festivities.

At one point, a playful Mrs. O got caught up in the excitement and goofed around with a fencing sword (aka épée). President Obama better watch out -- she's a fierce First Lady!

I was lucky enough to never have been overweight in my life. That all ended after the birth of my second child. I got down to 20 pounds over my normal weight but no matter what I did I couldn't lose the rest. I didn't know if was age catching up with me or if somehow my metabolism changed. Whatever the reason, nothing was working. I tried all the bogus acai "diet" pills that we see all over the internet, but are just scams. All I ever lost with that stuff was money. lol Hello Nan as you can see no one cares just adverts lol. I just wanted to put my opinion and that of millions of others . And she is not Mrs O. , Jackie Kennedy Onasis is. But nice picure of it on the south lawn, never seen so many colors since i opened a box of 64 coloring crayons lol. Shes a disgrace as a person who is suppose to be in the camera light. Please as been pointed out many times someone dress that nethandral.

I regret to inform you that as a Fashion major I can garantee you she is 100% a fashion do. Bright colors and interesting pattern perfectly coordinated, accentuation the smallest part of her body with a belt...
Oh I do suspect she has a stylist. There are way too many awesomely spot on fashion "dos" in this pic to suggest she dressed herself!

i am not a fan of what Mrs Obama wears, but who cares. As long as her husband does his job. He is doing a great job so far.

What's with the three sizes too small tops? And, that belt looks stupid. She's very short waisted, and she shouldn't wear belts like that. Actually, anyone as short waisted as she is should rarely wear belts. I cannot understand why she continues to listen to whomever is styling her because most of her looks suck. STOP WITH THE BELTS. They don't look good on you.

she's pearshaped. High waists, whether created by empire cut shirts/dresses or by belting as she's done, is the perfect fix to make a larger pearshaped woman appear smaller.
Is she really short waisted? I've never seen her break those rules so I've never accuarately gauged what size she really is.

I think that belt is the ugliest thing ever. It pulls her clothes ever which way .It looks to me as though her tummy protrudes a bit and those tight clothes don't do a thing for her. Much less all the colors.
I think she could use a bit of help !

If she only knew how bad she looks with that belt around her, and over an open cardigan! I wish she would leave this style where it belongs, in the closet or the trash bin. It does not do anything for her or for fashion. Michelle, leave it alone, this is a dead style and makes you look like you don't know how to dress!

Why must we keep hearing about her fashion style? It is crap! My 5 year old puts together better outfits than her. Really who cares, my Husband is out of work and needs a job and so do alot of other people! Lets hear more about how Mr. and Mrs O, plan to create jobs like He said with all the stimulus money.

Actually Georgia and Gayle, I have two closet full of clothes that are timeless and classy, Carola Little, Lauren, and even if something came from the thrift shop or consignment store I can damn sure put a better looking outfit together then this worthless piece of fluff.

The belt is far too wide and the colors are garish, nothing classy about this look AT ALL !!!! But nothing classy about a racist bitch anyway so .... nuff said
