INSPIRATION: If "Great Expectations" had been set in the 1990s, and starred supermodels Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista and Naomi Campbell frolicking in lush gardens, it'd be the perfect setting for Tibi's runway looks. "Tibi's spring collection is unabashedly pretty and feminine but decidedly minimal and not too precious," the program notes stated.

TOP LOOKS: Pretty, delicate floral prints gave life to simple white dresses. A yellow slip top was paired with an origami laser-cut white bubble skirt. A beautiful colorful bird print graced a black halter dress and a long, strapless gown. A pink striped knee-length dress was conservative in the front, open-backed and sex pot from behind.

ACCESSORIES: A few ribbons in the hair and ankle-strap stiletto sandals in camel or electric blue were the only adornments.

WHO WAS THERE: "The City's" Olivia Palermo, "Real Housewives of New York City's" Kelly Bensimon.

WHAT WE THOUGHT: The show opened with Guns 'N' Roses' "Sweet Child O' Mine," and sweet, this show was. Dainty abstract floral touches – sometimes with pailettes or beaded – were nice and girlie. The colors – white, pink, bright orange and blue, pale peachy-beige and lavender – felt warm and safe.

Amsymmetry made an appearance, with one-shoulder dresses – and we're still thinking about those suede flower details that added just the right amount of interest to simple slip gowns. Sweet!
