Last week's Fashion's Night Out saw the bright – very bright – kick off of a new career.

Regine Basha, daughter of esteemed jeweler Aaron Basha, launched her accessories house 2ENLIGHT10 with the debut of her "TAXI" clutch – black suede body with flashing yellow TAXI sign.

2ENLIGHT10's collection of limited edition clutches with removable chain straps and magnetic closures are each outfitted with electro-luminescent technology that allows for the purses' piping to glow; or in the case of the "TAXI" handbag, a fully functional and flashing TAXI sign. And don't worry -- all lights can be turned off.

If you happened to be in New York City tonight, you may have noticed sexy models with 2ENLIGHT10 "TAXI" clutches hailing cabs for pedestrians, which was part of Basha's Fashion's Night Out marketing plan and the luminescent kick off of her company and e-commerce website (slated to go live today!).

The handbags will range from $165 to $225 and will initially be exclusively available on www.2ENLIGHT10.com.

Aside from the "TAXI" clutch, other styles include the "Aspen" -- silver speckled, metallic suede clutch with lights available in white and purple – and the "Vegas" -- black python embossed leather clutch with lights available in purple, pink and white.

Right before her big debut on the streets of Manhattan, designer Basha took time out to chat with StyleList.com.

StyleList: How did you come up with the idea for the taxi clutch?
Regine Basha: I created a clutch that has glowing piping (which is now part of this collection) for me and my friends. We would always use it to hail a cab, as you are visible from at least a block and a half away. I had an a-ha designer moment when I thought "how cool would that be to have one that says TAXI?".

StyleList: That's literally a light bulb moment. What would you say is your overall design philosophy?
RB: Fun needs to be paramount. If it makes me giddy and want to call someone and share my idea, then I know I'm onto something. I want my designs to add fun to peoples lives, to make them comfortable in their own skin and to feel empowered.

StyleList: Where do you draw inspiration from?
RB: I am most inspired by music. I occasionally DJ and being connected to a rhythm and beat, triggers design ideas. I would say that in the state of feeling free, there is a pool of inspiration.
