During New York Fashion Week there are plenty of shows, but few of them (if any) are charitable by nature.

Earlier in the week, celebrity models in the form of Brooke Burke and Carol Alt strutted their stuff on a runway that led to a good cause: The Pink Dress Collection.

The former wore a strapless number by Nicole Miller, while the latter donned a sweeping Joanna Mastroianni dress.

And the self-proclaimed Queen of All Media, Perez Hilton, also sashayed down the runway in a pink suit by Moods of Norway.

But the biggest stars were the cancer survivors who worked the catwalk in designs by Luca Luca, Juicy Couture and Guess by Marciano, just to name a few.

The Pink Dress Collection is part of a three-city tour that includes stops in New York, Miami and Los Angeles.

At the final stop in LA, the stylish pieces will be auctioned off at an extravagant after-party, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to breast-cancer research organization Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

This isn't the only time gorgeous dresses have been worn for a cause. Though, last time, they were red!
