Runway Review - Chadwick Bell
Filed under: Fashion, Best of the Season, Runway Report

Chic and sophisticated on the Chadwick Bell runway. Photo: Giovanni Giannoni
DESIGNER: Chadwick Bell
INSPIRATION: Miro's late-career paintings
TOP LOOKS: Fitted eel-skin cocktail dresses, youthful but sophisticated gabardine wrap-around sheaths with belts disappearing on one side, an exquisitely embroidered caftan
ACCESSORIES: Statement necklaces, strappy platorm slides
WHO WAS THERE: Veronica Webb, who said she is a huge fan of the young designer, with her adorable daughter.
WHAT WE THOUGHT: One to watch, especially for the uptown type who appreciates perfect tailoring and an understated palette but who also maintains her own kick of style. To wit, Linda Fargo, Fashion Director of Bergdorf Goodman, sat in the front row with an approving grin.
