Just when we thought it couldn't get any better than Blake Lively's braid, Mila Kunis showed up to the Emmys in a ponytail.

Yes, it's cheap, simple, easy, and now the ponytail can even work at a black tie event. We got the details from TRESemmé stylist Mara Rozsak, who created the look:

  • Apply smoothing cream to damp hair (Rozsak used TRESemmé Anti-Frizz Secret Smoothing Creme)
  • Part hair to one side and blow-dry with a medium round brush
  • Curl hair with a 1 1/4" barrel curling iron and spray to hold (Rozsak used TRESemmé Frizz Shield hairspray)
  • Pull hair into a low pontail, leaving a small piece out on one side to frame the face
  • Take another small section of hair and wrap around to hide the elastic
  • Brush curls out gently with fingers for a messier texture, and spray to hold (Rozsak used TRESemmé TRES Two hairspray)
