Prince William and Kate Middleton Set a Date, Kate Passes Our Style Test

After all, William was the prince to millions of girls' princess fantasies, so it was only natural to wonder what it was about Middleton that helped her make the cut.
And make the cut, she did -- the pair reportedly have set a date to wed in 2012, when William turns 30.
But back to Middleton for a minute.
The icon, who made Vanity Fair's Best Dressed List, shows a chameleon-like ability to adapt her style to various situations.
At the far left, she masters the English aristocratic look (complete with customary hat) at a wedding.
In the middle, she exhibits effortless style while watching a Polo match in skinny jeans, a flowy top and a leather jacket.
At the right, Middleton gets into character for a Roller Disco benefit, proving not only that she can let loose and have fun (for charity, of course), but that she has the bod to wear just about anything.
Do you think Kate Middleton has royal style? Is she fit to be a princess? Leave a comment below!

Kate has shown she has class and elegance to handle whatever she needs to do to become Royal. She knows how much William admires his late Mother and has tried to emulate what made Diana special. She is much classier than Fergie,Camilla and the rest of the Royal consorts.I think William has been prudent and wise.

I have always been very afraid of aging, you know, becoming old and useless and unattractive. When I turned 50, I decided to do something about it. I've spent fortunes on face creams and anti-aging serums… but using GenFX is the first time I've tried turning back the clock from the inside out. It's also the last time I'll spend a fortune on face creams! Now everyone says I look 35! www.antiaginggenfx.com

Three years of waiting before she is a bride? This doesn't even include the last several years of "service." Bless her heart, she's already learning how to be selfless.

Yes, I guess it will take three years to design and create the royal dress, the cake, the invitations, the table adornments, and the hundreds of other royal things needed for this wedding. I guess they can't just throw the wedding at the VFW hall and serve chicken, beef, and mostacolli and a keg of beer!

This beautiful young lady more than deserves this. She is not only in love with the Prince, but she is willing to become the type of person that England requires of their Royals. She has shown that she knows all about being in the spotlight and not only can maintain her life but is able to deal with how the rest of he life will play out. That William loves her is apparent when they are together, and only good wishes and happiness are sent their way.

Edith, that would be nice but William isn't next in line to the throne. His father Charles is. They aren't likely to skip a generation just because the young people think William would make a sexy king!!

William has class, something his mama instilled in him! He has picked a very very classy lady and I only wish them both the very very best. She knows ROYALITY and shows it everywhere she goes. Thank goodness William took after Mamas ideals and not his fathers. Congrads Will... And back to the fairytale ---- Happy ever After!

The real question we should ask is, " Does Kate make the cut for Prince William?" As unhappy as his parents and many of his ancestors have been with their marriages, nothing would make me happier than to see these two young people joined together in lasting wedded bliss!

I have to laugh e very time I see anything from this "Style" section on AOL. Frankly anything they endorse has to be suspect because they have so damm much class
UNFORTUNATELY IS IS ALL LOW! and AOL wouldn't know class or style if it came up and bit them in the ass.

Well Rob sweetie, I can tell you have zero class, since we all know "Class, real class, that is" never bites you on the ass.lol
Speaking to another lower class person,Nathaniel....Would you mind writing your comment over again, since it seems very few of us haven't the slightest clue what you're trying to say?
Patty 9-25-2009 @ 2:06PM
Rob,
Did something come over to you to make an outburst like that? Do you have Tourettes? Personally, I know if I HATED a "Style" section as much as you do this one, I wouldn't be reading it and/or commenting on it. Spending alot of time Rob, on a site you despise.
Hmmmmm, all different types of people aren't there?

They are waiting until William finishes his training as an air rescue pilot in the RAF. The course is very demanding and requires most of his time for the next twelve months--not a very condusive environment to begin a new marriage.
