Miss Singapore World Steps Down After News of Lingerie Shopping Spree on Stolen Credit Cards Emerges

Here she is, Miss Sticky Fingerrrrrssssss...
Miss Singapore World, Ris Low, has had to resign in disgrace.
ERM World Marketing pageant organizers say Low stepped down after it emerged that she had stolen seven credit cards last year while employed at a medical clinic and used them to buy lingerie, phones and gold anklets, as reported by Reuters. All told, her shopping spree totaled roughly $8,000 SGD, or about $5,675 US.
(Gold anklets? Now that is a crime.)
It had been a tumultuous reign for the beauty queen bandit, who had also faced public criticism over her English language skills after she recently mispronounced the word "bikini," (watch the above video), according to Reuters.
We won't fault a girl for poor English when we can't speak a lick of Malay (and yes, we had to look that up), but pulling a Winona Ryder is a no-no in any language.
So, we'll be taking that tiara now, thanks.
Oh, and pretty girls? Just because you're cute doesn't mean you can break the law.
A replacement has yet to be named. Stay tuned...
