Medical makeup is high coverage makeup that helps conceal and correct skin imperfections like acne, age spots, scars and dark under eye circles.

Usually designed by dermatologists, medical makeup is concealers, foundations and powders that are heavier in pigmentation and consistency than regular complexion products to address difficult skin problems.

Made for both face and body alike, they address the following concerns: scars, stretchmarks, birthmarks, hyperpigmentation, age spots, brown spots, uneven skin tones, varicose veons, tattoos, rosacea, acne and vitiligo.

Popular brands include Dermablend, CoverBlend by Exuviance and Avene.
