Claudia Schiffer Says 'No More Runways'

If you've been hoping for a '90s supermodels runway reunion, don't hold your breath: at least one famous catwalker has said, never again.

"I am finished with the runway," Claudia Schiffer, 39, is quoted as saying on Vogue.co.uk. "I won't miss it. I am still modeling and I enjoy that a lot but no more runways."

The blonde bombshell is plenty busy off the runway -- on top of being the mother of two, Schiffer is the face of Alberta Ferretti's fragrance, joins fellow '90s glamazons Naomi Campbell and Eva Herzigova in the new Dolce & Gabbana perfume ads, and, last season, shot Yves Saint Laurent's campaign.

Yes, older models do seem to be making a comeback: Schiffer's '90s cohort, Cindy Crawford, has also been starring in numerous campaigns of late and after a seven year hiatus, Natalia Vodianova made her runway return last week in Milan.

But this isn't the first time Schiffer has said ciao to the catwalk. After walking for little-known designer Giorgio Ferrari during Milan Fashion Week in 1998, she said she was finito!

Though, Schiffer appears to be happy where she is.

"I can sit on the side and view the outfits and see all the detail and that suits me fine," the Vogue UK story reported. "It's very enjoyable. I like my new viewpoint."

Wanna know which supermodel earns the most? ('Cause clearly it's not enough to be drop dead gorgeous; you have to be loaded, too.)
