But what really had people talking was Osbourne's Twitter page, where she revealed a photo of an angry-looking armpit which she claimed had been "burned" by a popular deodorant body spray.
"Never ever use impulse body spray from the UK i sprayed it on myself and now have really bad burns all over my body gentle on skin my a**!" she tweeted.
Osbourne said she had to alter her "Dancing with the Stars" costume to hide the unsightly marks.
Impulse Body Spray has been on the market since 1972. Originally introduced in South Africa, the "perfume deodorant" is now the UK's "number one female body spray fragrance," according to Unilever.
As for what could have caused the reaction, a study by the CDC suggests that two of the body spray's ingredients could be to blame: "Oxidized limonene and linalool are common allergens in dermatitis patients tested consecutively in
Dr. David Bank, a Cosmetic Dermatologist, says "Fragrance is the number one cause of contact skin allergies, and can certainly cause rashes for some people. Look for fragrance-free of hypoallergenic products to minimize the chance you'll have a reaction."
Perhaps fellow Unilever brand Dove deodorant would have been better on the star's sensitive skin?

I have always been very afraid of aging, you know, becoming old and useless and unattractive. When I turned 50, I decided to do something about it. I've spent fortunes on face creams and anti-aging serums… but using GenFX is the first time I've tried turning back the clock from the inside out. It's also the last time I'll spend a fortune on face creams! Now everyone says I look 35!

I was lucky enough to never have been overweight in my life. That all ended after the birth of my second child. I got down to 20 pounds over my normal weight but no matter what I did I couldn't lose the rest. I didn't know if was age catching up with me or if somehow my metabolism changed. Whatever the reason, nothing was working. I tried all the bogus "diet" pills that we see all over the internet, but are just scams. All I ever lost with that stuff was money. One of my friends, knowing what I was going through, told me that she had been losing weight using a special plan http://bit.ly/FatLoss4You It laid out the facts in a way I never saw before and had easy to follow meal plans and diets. Not only have I lost the weight and kept it off but I'm leading a healthier lifestyle, mostly from the knowledge I gained from this amazing program.

At least it was in a spot nobody could see. I like Kelly on the show, I think she is trying hard and I hope that she continues at least for a while.

Deodorants are known to have propylene glycol (antifreeze) which is a known carcinogen on the 11th Report on Carcinogens of our FDA website. Or polyethylene glycol probably in the product. KNow what you are putting in and on your body, and that safe alternatives are available. with Neways Int. products, you do not have to worry because there are no harmful ingredients and no carcinogens in any of the products.

Be the best person you can be. Aging is half genetics and half taking care of yourself. (Stress)
Kelly's rash will heal. Bet she won't use the product again. We all learn.

The same thing happened to me when I used a spray deodorant/antipersperant. It was horrible and it took a really long time to go away. I went to the doctor and he told me it was an airborn fungus....he refused to believe it was from deodorant. I had it on each armpit and nowhere else....he was a quack.

I had a problem with Arid roll-on. There is an active ingredient in it that I was allergic to. I just stay away from that ingredient in any anti persperiant. I am also allergic to nickle and maybe that was in Arid. I wish I had the word for you but I haven't used any of that for 40 years.

Kelly looks so adorable in this picture. This is the best hair color I have seen on her, and the cut is so cute, really accentuates her eyes!

What kind of comments are these? Advertising and links to other sites! Doesn't anyone read these things for content? I was curious about who would bother to comment on an allergic reaction. Now I know. No one! This site is awful!

Of all the ingredients in deodorant I think that most people are having a reaction to aluminum chlorhydrate. Aluminum is poison to the human body in any form. If you have ever been cut or even just scratched by a piece of aluminum you know how sore the wound got and how long it took for it to heal. And yet they insist on putting it in a product that we use on one of the most sensitive parts of our bodies. I have noticed that when I use antiperspirants that when they wear off the body odor is 10 X worse. That is because it is NOT stopping perspiration, it is only plugging up the pores to the sweat glands so it is backing up the perspiration in the gland, which must be swelling. Then when the chemical effect from the deodorant wears off the comes out in what seems like a cloud of musk from a skunk!!! I use something that I simply found at Walmart. It's called Herbal Clear, in a bright yellow container. It has natural things that fight the odor of perspiring but doesn't stop the bodie's natural functions. Why try to stop something that is a natural function of the human body? With all of the glands in your armpits who knows what it might cause???

My husband breaks out in nasty burn looking rashes when he uses any spray on deodorant. he has to use an unscented solid. He refused to believe me about it being a reaction to what he was using so I stopped buying it for him and forced him to use the solid. now he only uses what I buy him
My daughter and I both like Kelly on the show and would hate to see her go. Hubby on the other hand is a huge fan of daddy.
