Katy Perry Interviews Karl Lagerfeld at Paris Fashion Week for Elle.com

Katy Perry turned journalist backstage at Karl Lagerfeld's eponymous show in Paris, quizzing the Kaiser himself post-show for Elle.com.

The semi-awkward video interview shows Perry trying to get Lagerfeld to open up about his favorite music and the oldie but goodie "if you could trade places with anyone, who would it be?"

While the latter question resulted in a befuddled Lagerfeld (seriously, if you were Karl Lagerfeld would you want to stand in anyone else's shoes?), but he confided that Lily Allen's album "It's Not Me, It's You" best describes who he is.

With the two being super besties of late and Lagerfeld booking Allen to sing at the Chanel show, we're not too surprised.

Watch the video clip to find out more about Lagerfeld -- like which day of the week he hates most -- and to see more of Lagerfeld at Spring 2010 Fashion Week, head over to Elle.com.
