Polaroid film has been laid to rest by its founding fathers, but the iconic instants are in full revival mode thanks to artists like Jeremy Kost (a la RoidRage). Kost shot the glitz of fashion week with the gritty, poorly exposed and yellowing film.

The result was slightly different from the lushly saturated images in our Faces gallery, or the precisely documented moments in Elizabeth Lippman's Work and Wonder.

And only on Polaroid would Betsey Johnson baring her teeth look kitschy instead of crazy.
