Time to tack on another label to Carla Bruni-Sarkozy's model/kinda-sorta-maybe Woody Allen leading lady/musician/French First Lady job title: Web mistress.
The gorgeous wife of French president Nicolas Sarkozy just launched a Website, CarlaBruniSarzoky.org, to promote her accomplishments and charitable initiatives, and, more importantly, spill some dirt. (No wonder the site crashed within hours of launching after an influx of traffic, as The Daily Mail reports.)
Along with an eye roll-worthy bio that includes the quote "'she may not have been a suffragette or invented the miniskirt, but she is the very epitome of the modern woman in the way she approaches the world,' notes one of her closest friends." (We bet!)
The site includes a random but surprisingly forthcoming A-Z guide to Bruni's life that runs the gamut from director David Lynch to Christian Dior to World AIDS Day, and the controversy surrounding her nude image on Pardon bags last year.
Under the Madrid entry comes this choice line, in reference to a state visit this past April: "As with Michelle Obama, it is a beauty contest between Princess Letizia [above right], a former star journalist, and Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, ex-top model. From their Louboutin shoes to their Azzedine Alaïa dresses, the essentials are all there."
Don't get any ideas, Carla. You may have the singing/guitar playing/modeling thing down, but we'd put good money on our Mrs. O's bicep curls trumping you in the talent portion.
Can't get enough Carla Bruni? We've got a lot more of the French First Lady's style on tap.

I was lucky enough to never have been overweight in my life. That all ended after the birth of my second child. I got down to 20 pounds over my normal weight but no matter what I did I couldn't lose the rest. I didn't know if was age catching up with me or if somehow my metabolism changed. Whatever the reason, nothing was working. I tried all the bogus "diet" pills that we see all over the internet, but are just scams. All I ever lost with that stuff was money. One of my friends, knowing what I was going through, told me that she had been losing weight using a special plan http://bit.ly/FatLoss4You It laid out the facts in a way I never saw before and had easy to follow meal plans and diets. Not only have I lost the weight and kept it off but I'm leading a healthier lifestyle, mostly from the knowledge I gained from this amazing program.
