Estée Lauder Wants to Give Your Profile Pic a Free Makeover

Embarrassed by your Facebook profile pic? Mortified by what you may have posted on Match.com? Estée Lauder wants to help glam your image up.

The beauty giant is taking on social media by introducing an event called "Your Beauty. Your Style. Your Profile."

Simply show up at a participating Estée Lauder counter for a free makeover (foundation samples, too!), and you get a hard-copy and digital photo e-mailed to you, ready to be posted to your dating, networking, personal or professional page.

Of course, the company's logo will be in the background. (What you choose to do with Photoshop is entirely up to you.)

The event kicks off at Bloomingdale's in New York Oct. 16, then hits various department stores in Chicago, Miami and Southern California.

Check with your local counters or here for locations and dates. And expect to get a lot of new Facebook comments.
