While the cover of Vogue's November issue celebrates Hollywood's leading ladies (Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz, Kate Hudson and Marion Cotillard strike a pose together), a large spread inside of the magazine focuses on another special group -- the 10 finalists for the coveted CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award.

The budding designers, who we've previously reported on, include womenswear designers Natalie Chanin of Alabama Chanin, Gary Graham, Wayne Lee of Wayne, Flora Gill and Alexa Adams of Ohne Titel and Sophie Theallet -- who previously designed an outfit that Michelle Obama was seen wearing in Africa.

Also vying for the prize (which has gone to Alexander Wang and the boys from Proenza Schouler in years' past) are jewelry designers Waris Ahluwalia of House of Waris and Monique Péan, George Esquivel of Esquivel Shoes and menswear designers Simon Spurr of Spurr and Patrik Ervell.

In Vogue's celebratory spread, models Chanel Iman, Angela Lindvall, Lily Donaldson, Karlie Kloss and Sasha Pivovarova (along with quirky songstress Janelle Monae and artist Tauba Auerbach) dress up in looks that best exemplify the style of the nominees, while Vogue writer Florence Kane introduces us to the designers.

From philanthropy and sustainability to Africa and "love and history" (that'd be Ahluwalia), the designer's inspirations are as varied as the designs themselves.

So, who will be America's Next Top Fashion Designer... or at least the one getting a big fat check for $200,000 (and two runner-ups getting $50,000) along with business mentoring?

We'll have to wait until the awards on November 16 to find out.

In the meantime, take a look at the designers and their work at Vogue.com, then leave us a comment below with who you think should take home the prize.
