Moschino's windows are getting the Whitney Museum treatment.

The brand's New York City location in the Meatpacking District is pulling double duty as an art gallery of sorts.

Artist Ryan Humphrey has taken over the store's window in honor of the Whitney Contemporaries, a young patron group affiliated with the Whitney Museum of American Art.

The 3-D installation, titled "Darkness at Sunset," is inspired by the company's fall collection, and the motorcycle actually features fabrics used in the collection, a company spokeswoman said.

Moschino is known for its art-driven window displays at its boutiques around the world, which change monthly. This is one of the first times there was a window created exclusively for one city, the spokeswoman added.

The company went even further to support the Whitney by hosting an invitation-only cocktail party earlier this week. The event showcased other works by Humphrey and there was a preview of the Moschino Spring/Summer 2010 collection.
