Time is on Omega's side.

Omega has been keeping time for the race for the gold since the 1923 Olympic Games, which took place in Los Angeles.

And the iconic watchmaker has now extended its official Olympic timekeeping duties until 2020.

To celebrate its 24th year of keeping those world records in check, Omega has released a limited edition watch for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games.

Called the Omega Seamaster Diver 300m "Vancouver 2010" Limited Edition, the watch will come in 41 mm and 36.25 mm version, and only 2010 of each will be produced.

Featuring a white lacquered dial and red rotating bezel (in honor of the hosting country's red and white flag), the watch will also have the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games logo embossed on the caseback along with the edition number.

At $3,800 a pop, the timepiece doesn't come cheap, but may just be the perfect splurge gift for that special (sporty) someone in your life this holiday season.

The watch is available now at the Omega boutique on New York City's Fifth Avenue and the Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills, Calif. location.
