The Nook, Barnes & Noble's answer to Amazon's Kindle, is already making a fashion statement with designer "Nook" covers, if you will.

Kate Spade (above right), Jack Spade, Tahari and Jonathan Adler (above left) have all created covers for the soon-to-be launched e-reader.

Offering both style and substance, the color touchscreen Nook has enough memory to store 1,500 books, newspapers and magazines.

It also has 3G technology and WiFi access, so you can choose from over one million titles.

Pre-order yours now, or wait until the $259 gadget hits Barnes & Noble stores and the B&N Website next month. The covers, ranging from $85-$125, will also be available online.
