Ford Models began conducting its worldwide searches for the next big face 30 years ago -- way before "America's Next Top Model" was even a twinkle.

And, now, it's Ford model hunting season again! For the first time ever, the U.S. open casting call is taking place on the same day (Nov. 21) nationwide.

East coast HQl will be the W Hotel Lexington Avenue in New York City, and the W Hotel Westwood in Los Angeles on the west coast.

Previous year's searches have launched the careers of mega model Chanel Iman (shown left), who placed third place in the 2006 competition and newcomer Jacquelyn Jablonski (a 2008 runner-up), who was a fixture on catwalks, such as Prada and Balenciaga, this season.

All aspiring models who show up for the call will be interviewed by the Ford team and given a chance to show off their walking abilities (better study up on what Miss J Alexander has to say!).

Bliss Spa will also be on hand to give out complimentary products to participants.

The winner will go on to compete in December's world finals in Sao Paulo, Brazil for the grand prize of a Ford Modeling contract.
