Has the Princess Bride gone goth?

So it appeared this past weekend at the The Cinema Society & A Diamond is Forever screening of The Private Lives of Pippa Lee on November 15, 2009 in New York City.

Robin Wright Penn debuted newly darkened locks, which looked like a deep shade of cool espresso. Rumor has the dark hue -- which lie in stark contrast to her normally blonde locks -- it for her role as Mary Surratt in The Conspirator, which she is currently filming.

The recently-divorced actress joined model Agyness Deyn and Twlight star Kristen Stewart in a newly raven-haired celebrity trend.
