Zac Posen is finally designing something we can all afford (well, almost).

Jumping on the fashion trend du jour, Posen is introducing a lower-priced line this spring called Z Spoke, to be sold exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue.

The designer, whose namesake collection retails anywhere from $900 to $12,000 per item, will be selling this sportswear collection at price points starting at $78 for a T-shirt to $675 for a knit dress. The collection will also include things like cotton shirting, blazers and trousers.

"We've had so much pressure from press and retailers to build out our collection into this more American sportswear look," Posen told WWD.

"To me, it's more appropriate to build a whole brand and collection around this price point. Chic sportswear should be at this price point. Designer dresses and cocktail pieces should be at a more expensive price point." Amen!
