I've always started the day by submerging face in really cold water! And my grandmother swears by Vaseline. So, I've always used to remove my makeup!!

My favorite skin tip has to be to stay away from the sun (and use SPF when you're exposed to harmful UVA)....everyone is always amazed when I tell them my actual age.

My grandmother always told me to pat moisterizer around the eyes with your 4th finger, thumb being number one, and never pull your skin or scratch your face but tap, tap, tap because it will prevent wrinkles from occuring.

My most favorite skin care tip is a never fail home remedy for my oily oily OILY acne prone easily scarring skin! Ready? 1) Wash with white dove bar 2) Rub Emu oil all over skin ( I know it sounds crazy, but your skin loves this) 3) Dab tea tree oil on problem pimples and scars before you go to bed (avoid those eyes!) You'll be glowing and delicious in no time! :)

I advice to use olive oil as a moisturizer, it is also great for mascara removal and as a treatment for lips!

My favorite beauty remedy is using vaseline on my lips every night before bed so they are silky smooth and not chapped by the winter weather!

Beautiful skin starts from the inside, so take that cod liver oil, drink the homemade soup & always eat your vegetables, 'cos momma said.
=)
Thanks for the opportunity

The best beauty tip I know is don't just stay away from the sun.....stay away from tanning beds as well. They are just as bad, if not worse, for you skin. So all you young ladies who just have to be bronzed & brown find a good artificial tanner.
Your youth doesn't last forever, but if you protect your skin you can keep everyone guessing about your age.
"Love the skin you're in". :)

My favorite skincare tip is taking flax seed oil every day. My skin is soft and supple coming from within and I don't even need to use body lotion for the winter. Believe me it works!

My momma told me, drink plenty of water, get plenty of rest, and always take your makeup off before you go to bed.

Start moisturizing when you are young. There are 'age-appropriate' moisturizers for teens on up. It's never too early to start with good skin care and the best makeup in the world won't take the place of a great complexion. If you have to skimp on something, buy less expensive makeup but always buy the best skincare products you can afford.

The best thing to do is use a very good moisturizing soap when you wash. then use a 24 hour lotion. Rub a little over your face take a dry washcloth, one that is not to ruff.Use this to rub the lotion in gentle circles around your face will help remove any dry skin and keep your skin soft. also a little lip gloss and eyeliner goes a long way. try not to stay in the sun for long periods of time.

The best beauty advice I ever got was actually in the form of a wake-up call regarding the sun. I always thought I was not damaging my skin by sunbathing, because I NEVER got a burn. When I was forty, a Dr. told me that your skin tans because it is damaged! Wish I had heard that one when I was 15!
I use Kinerase cream, which my daughter buys for me, and I love it.
Thanks for the opportunity to try something new.

For me, the major thing is proper cleansing and moisturizing. As long as you mainting those, there's no need to spend tons on strange creams and potions. I'm a third generation using plain-old Oil of Olay with great results.

Hemp Lip Balm from The Body Shop healed my lips after years of trying many (expensive) products - they don't split or crack anymore!

My best advice is to take your vitamins. Vitamins A, C, E & beta carotene protect against free radicals.

Protect your skin from the sun! - its never too early to learn that rule of skin care plus less is more - find a few good products that work for your skin type and stick with them. always wash your face of makeup etc. every evening and moisturize before you go to bed zzz :)
