And now, Reason #458 you'll need to schedule a Cindy Crawford wake-up call.
A new survey says that up to 134 million shoppers will be descending on malls and shops the Black Friday weekend, Reuters reports.
(And what do you want to bet that 133,999,999 of them will be ahead of you in the checkout line?)
According to the news service, a survey conducted by the National Retail Federation found that 57 million consumers planned to shop over the holiday weekend, with another 77 million saying they would go shopping but would check for deals first.
That's up from last year, Reuters reports, when a total of 128 million people expressed interest in taking part in the shopping mayhem.
And look out for those early birds. Ten percent of shoppers polled said they would be willing to shop during the hours of midnight and 3am, while a quarter of shoppers planned to hit the shops in the early morning hours, Reuters reports.
The NRF survey also found that that most popular shopping destinations will be discount retailers (66.3 percent), department stores (62.4 percent), electronics stores (40 percent) and clothing retailers (36 percent).
Plan accordingly.
