For the fifth and final challenge, we were tasked with creating a look using stretch tie-dye leggings by Plan B.

While I'm definitely a girl who appreciates all sorts of leg-wear; I usually stick with dark, flattering colors. For my final look, I revived my DIY black slashed leggings from November 2008 and layered them overtop, allowing the tie-dye pattern to peek through for a subtle edge. Okay, I'll admit it...I suppose this is also a way of rebelling against tie-dye, hence the traffic cones, but I really liked the combo look!

This shows more of my casual, every day style. In fact, I wore it to the office the day this photo was taken (they are super flex). Up top, I wore a tank dress with grayish blue tones to complement the tie-dye. I also chose to wear a denim motorcycle jacket, tall black wedges and my favorite necklace.

I think this was my favorite challenge because it best represents my personal style. If something doesn't work for me, I re-invent, whether that a shirt stolen from my boyfriend's closet or a dress worn upside down. By no means do I think this is "the way" to wear tie-dye leggings, I just had fun with it and made it work with items I already had. By the way, I just celebrated my two-year blog anniversary a few days ago and coincidentally, if you've been following the contest, you'll notice I'm newly brunette.

Check out my blog to see the other looks I considered and a DIY surprise in store for the leggings! Also, don't forget to make your daily vote on StyleList, Bluefly or the America's Most Stylish Blogger Facebook fan page.
