Cindy Crawford Admits Botox Use

This is hardly surprising news, but Cindy Crawford made headlines today for admitting she has used Botox.

"Because people have such expectations of what they are going to find when they see me, that brings added pressure to fight the ageing process," Crawford stated in an interview which will be published in GQ later this week.

The 43-year-old mother of three said she visited a London cosmetic surgeon for several years to have the wrinkle-reducing injections. She said she thought about more drastic surgery, but decided against it because it can make women look "unreal."

According to The Daily Mail, Crawford admitted in the interview: "There's a doctor here in London who I've gone to for Botox. I did a whole skincare line with him. But I haven't done Botox for ten years. And I didn't do collagen, I don't think."

If their bunny lines are any indication, we think that at this point it's safe to assume that most major celebrities get Botox shots.

But we say hats off to Crawford for actually admitting it.

I love Cindy Crawford. She's been my favorite model since I was a 14 year old girl. She's beautiful and classy.
So what if she uses botox, what celeb doesn't? At least she didn't change her looks with plastic surgery.
A woman has do what she has to do to look good. Although, I would never have botox, it IS her choice, she IS in the spotlight and needs to keep up her appearance for the cameras.
I think she's great.

Hoooooooooooooooold on there before you praise Crawford. She's on late night/early morning infomercials (yes, thinking humans know they're all fakes) hawking this FABULOUS line of French melon inspired skin care products developed by some magical (also French of course) doctor in which she swears she has never had cosmetic surgery or botox and INSISTS emphatically several times that her ONLY means of maintaining her youthful appearance is this product! So... Good for her? I THINK NOT! I think, in fact, that she has broken the law and should be reported to the FCC. I KNEW those eyebrows looked "wrong" (I'm an RN, BSN with experience working in cosmetic surgery).

It's only Cindy Crawfords business if she wants to use botox.

However, I am very upset her infomercials claim she looks younger in her mid 40's because her Paris doctor found a special melon in Europe to make her cleanser, mositurizer, etc. help customers look younger like she does. She lied through her teeth about the melon making her look younger!! I can't believe she did that. Now customers won't believe her cosmetic items will work for them when they find out she hid her secret for using botox for years.

Wow. While this is not a shock, it certainly is disappointing. I guess I can no longer feel good about using a product where the spokesperson is not entirely honest. I think I'll be discontinuing the Cindy Crawford skin care line. Anyhoo, lately, I've found that Loreal products are awesome and cost just as much, if not less, than Cindy's stuff. Sorry Cindy. You just lost this customer. : (

I HATE HER!!!!! I bought her stupid skin care line and it started to burn and make my skin red, blotchy and super dry after using it 3 days. Sure I got my money back, but it took my skin about 6 weeks to recover and look normal again. B1tch!

who cares-cindy has been, is, and will always be one of the most beautiful women in the world. if she has had botox, she's a great spokeswoman for the doctor, because he did a great job. i love me some cindy crawford
