Helena Christensen might be 40, but that doesn't mean she's covering up her amazing body anytime soon.

For the January issue of Elle UK, the Danish cover girl goes au naturel and talks exclusively with the fashion tome about why disrobing is not a big deal.

"I have no problems with showing my body," the 5'10" mother of 10-year-old son Mingus tells the magazine. "I love breasts. I love the female shape. But I'm Danish. Everyone's naked on the beaches. We don't really give a s***." (Oh, so elegantly worded.)

No stranger to sultry photo shoots, the model -- who turns 41 this Christmas -- was photographed naked alongside Eva Herzigova, 36 and Claudia Schiffer, 39, for the current issue of i-D, stripped down for the cover of French magazine Citizen K in August, was the face of lingerie brand Agent Provocateur in late 2008 and posed for French Playboy in 2007.

"I just wanted the nudity to be in that normal, subtle way because my grandmother is still alive and I want to keep her for another 15 years -- I don't want her to get a shock!" she tells Elle UK about her risqué pictures.

We're sure grandma can handle the Elle image showing Christensen baring lots of leg and cleavage in clingy nude, pinup-worthy garments that leave little to the imagination.

Another shot shows the model completely bare on top, accessorized with only strategically placed hands -- cue "Wicked Game" video -- but is tastefully done and stunning.

In addition to explaining her liberal take on nudity, the oft bohemian-styled Christensen says she feels just as free about what she puts on her body.

"If I feel like dressing ridiculous today, I will and I don't care," she tells the magazine. "I think you've gotta have a f*** everybody attitude about it. I'm gonna do what I feel like doing."

And although she hates the term "supermodel" ("It's silly and cartoonish," she says), Christensen admits that there was definitely something about the models of the '90s that made them special.

"They all had interesting personalities and were fun," she adds. "They were versatile in their way of posing and expressing themselves. They had a certain depth to them that made you interested in more than just the facade."
