This week it was announced that Chelsea Clinton will get married sometime this summer to investment banker Marc Mezvinsky in Martha's Vineyard.

In honor of the pending nuptials we spoke to Rebecca Dolgin, the Executive Editor of The Knot, the go-to website for all things bridal - about the former first daughter's potential first wedding gown. Here's what she had to say.

StyleList: What do you think is the best style of wedding dress for Chelsea?
Rebecca Dolgin: Chelsea has an amazing body these days (We even hear she's a regular at Soul Cycle in NYC.) So she should absolutely show off her toned arms and shoulders. A strapless or sweetheart neckline would be perfect with a slim silhouette. She's never been over-the-top in her fashion choices, so we don't expect her to walk down the aisle in a dramatic ball gown or anything too extreme. We envision her wearing something elegant and tailored.

SL: What did you see from the most recent designer collections that would work for Chelsea?
RD: Although her personal style tends to be more classic, we see her surprising us with a twist. Jenny Packham always has chic, youthful designs that would be very fitting for Chelsea. One dress we loved from the Spring 2010 show was pleated chiffon strapless with a beaded waist. The flowing materials would allow Chelsea to work the crowd comfortably, especially since the wedding will be next summer, but the jeweled accent makes the dress unique.

SL: How should Chelsea do her hair and makeup and what jewelry should she wear?
RD: We love when Chelsea wears her hair down and straight with a slight curl to the ends. She would look stunning in a classic half-up do to secure her veil, and her makeup should accentuate her best asset-her eyes. Perhaps a smoky eyeliner, which she loves, paired with softer palette on her lips and cheeks. As for jewelry, we vote vintage. Minimal pieces with meaning seem to be right up her alley.

SL: Hillary Clinton famously wore an off-the-rack cotton dress that she bought the day before her wedding; do you envision that Chelsea will do the same as her mother?
RD: Definitely not; Chelsea is a planner. She seems to have very clear goals for her life. Her wedding is sure to be impeccably planned, and the dress will be exactly what she's always wanted.

And we can only guess what the mother of the bride will be wearing ... a pantsuit perhaps?
