JCPenney Puts Men in the Doghouse for Bad Holiday Gifts. Plus, Enter to Win $200 Gift Card

We've all had our share of crummy gifts.

Aunt Edna's toxic fruitcake. Reindeer sweaters that are ugly as sin and three sizes too big. And the worst one of all -- a blender when you were expecting bling.

Thankfully, this holiday season JCPenney has come up with two genius plans to put a stop to terrible gifts.

The first? A $200 JCPenney gift card for one lucky StyleList reader!

The department store has also set up BewareoftheDoghouse.com, which lets women unhappy with thoughtless gifts from seasons past put their clueless men in a virtual "doghouse." That should persuade them to step it up this year!

Here's how to enter:

To enter, leave a confirmed comment telling us the worst holiday gift you've ever received.
The comment must be left before 5pm ET on December 10, 2009.
You may enter only once.
One winner will be selected in a random drawing.
one winner will receive a JCPenney gift card (valued at $200).
Open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are 18 and older.

The worst holiday present I ever received was when I was in high school and I got a collection of Marvin the Martian stuffed animals for Christmas...I'd had a Marvin phase, but that was in middle school!! "Aw, gee thanks..." :)

The worst gift I ever recieved was from an ex boyfriend. He gave me two CDs I already had. To this day, three years later, they are still unopened.

the worse gift I ever received came from my girlfriend of three plus years, it was something called an "Epi-lady" which was suppose to remove hair down to the root so that you didn't have to shave very often.The main problem was that despite it working by painfully YANKING the hairs from your body, it was meant for women to shave their legs but I'm a straight MAN. It was totally useless to me and was never used along with the "magic crystal" which was meant to be used instead of deodorant .Needless to say that our relationship ended shortly after that Christmas.

The worst gift that I've ever received was when I was a teenager - my boyfriend at-the-time broke up with me on my birthday (which is very close to Christmas)! What a "gift!"

Worst was absolutely a set of magnets from a discount store that said things like "Princess!" "Diva" and puckered lips and high heels. It would have been cute if I had a kid, or I wasn't 20 years old. It totally wasn't even a joke either!

The set of Disney themed make-up and cheap plastic earrings an ex-boyfriend gave me about 10 years back. For real? We were 16...even then I was about 10 years too old for that kinda junk!

The worst holiday gift I received was 2 Santa coffee mugs when I was 12. I didn't drink coffee and the tag on the bottom said the mugs had cost 0.50.

One day, an ex showed me a necklace in his closet that he had bought for another woman who broke up with him right before the holiday. Later that same year, he gave me the same necklace for Christmas.
