StyleList previously reported that Lindsay Ellingson is featured on the Victoria's Secret Swim Catalogue cover in a racy cut-out number with detachable bandeau. Well, now the top is coming off!
Not only is the California stunner holding her, er, gifts in one hand, but there's a behind-the-scenes video of the topless photo shoot.
According to the film short, the topless suit is advertised as "Half the Bikini, Twice as Sexy," which leads us to wonder, what woman exactly would wear just half a bikini?
There are, of course, those European topless beaches, but the suit's lines aren't exactly tan-friendly. This kind of "twice as sexy" may very well be for behind bedroom doors (or for blowing up to poster size and plastering on the walls of adoring adolescent boys).
We're all for the bombshell look, but has Victoria's Secret gone too far in appealing to the guys? Let us know your thoughts in a comment!
At least there's one just for the ladies. Check out Victoria's Secret new shapewear, launching tomorrow, Jan. 14.

It’s amazing because nothing else was working for my wrinkles until I found Belisi RX ( http://biglnk.com/BelisiRX ), not topicals or even blue light treatment. People keep giving me compliments now and it feels great. I have only been using your product for two weeks and the difference in my skin tone is remarkable to say the least. I finally feel like I have healthy skin.

That is a disgustingly degrading piece of garbage. And I can't say much for the model who is willing to wear it. What ever happened to womanly dignity and self respect???

What century are you from?? Or are you just to dumpy to look at. The greatest creation of God is the human form. As long as fools like you exist with your puratain was the rest of the world will never be truly free.

I'm sorry, this "bathing suit" is ridiculous! I wouldn't waste my money on that.....and I feel sorry for anyone who would. I like Victoria's Secret. I think their bras and panties are great....but maybe thats what they should stick to. Bras and Panties. Whoever designed that hideous 'bathing suit' should be fired ASAP.

This model - Ellingson - does NOTHING for the "Victoria Secret" bathing suit! She is too skinny! You can see her ribs and she has no breasts.. Obviously, this swim suit could not be worn in the US... the wearer would be arrested! Fine in Europe where they have womanly curves to pull this one off. Would I buy it? NO! Not my style.... I look to more classic styles.. This looks like something Pamela Anderson would wear.... (cheap)!
I give the model a D-.

totally, gonna cost a lot of money. whats victoria's secret? its expensive and tiny! people will wear it for its from VS. its retardedly made, and its made for "high fashion" not for normal women. look at fashion shows. 90% of the stuff they show is "high fashion" and not made to wear on a daily basis. i'm really woundering if they made this just for the cover, or if there really going to sell it. any one who wears it is retarded, needs to be put in common sense rehabilitation camp, and all of there money needs to be taken from then, for they have too much if they are buying something like this.

There should be a video/photo shoot where the model actually shows off the topless bikini. With her hair in the way you don't get to see what the topless bikini actually looks like. Yes, that would be R rated, but Victoria's Secret could password protect the video/photo shoot. There has to be a way to do that.

Interesting idea. now if the suit AND the model both had a top to show off it might be a good idea.
two thumbs down is my vote

Its been done. Approx 1960plus. A designer did this almost same suit. He was Rudi Grenrich I believe. My Mother had one { of all things}. Ugly & cotroversial then. Same ol same ol.

Years ago it was called a mono-kini. And, as history does, it's back again.

Ugly, ugly. I hesitate to call it a "swimsuit".
My dad always told me to "leave something to the imagination." And i agree. If you put all your "wares" out on the table it leaves nothing to explore, it loses the mystery and excitement of unwrapping it!! LOL

One of these days Americans will figure out how to influence the "style-makers" rather than simply be dictated to on women's fashions. Of course the mono-kini is ridiculous and ugly, but as long as the sexual envelope continues to be pushed, good fit and body-line following swimwear will never win over bizarre! Take a look at bathing suits from thirty years ago; not only did they look better, but the models did too! Size zero, no butt and c-cup breasts in thongs and nipple covers do not look attractive in any way, but since the media says all men are secretly leering high-school boys at heart, that's what women should look like and wear!

It's all rather amusing. I've been noticing women since I was about six years old but these models look pretentious and silly.

This is just to grab everyone's attention. Look who they have wearing this ugly thing, a boobless shapeless model...aka someone who has nothing to show anyway. I wouldn't wear it because I DO HAVE the goods.
