While a mustard colored dress isn't the first thing most people think of to compliment a bright ketchup-red carpet, sometimes the McDonald's-themed combo can work.

Case in point: the Vera Wang frock that actress Michelle Williams rocked at the 2006 Oscars when she was nominated for her role in "Brokeback Mountain."

The old Hollywood-inspired gown and its risky untraditional yellow hue definitely signaled to the fashion world that Williams had officially arrived.

Perhaps "Inglorious Basterds" star Diane Kruger thought it wise to take a page out of Williams' style book for her own red carpet appearance (and nomination for outstanding performance by a cast) at last night's 2010 SAG Awards.

While Kruger's Jason Wu gown had an asymmetrical neckline and Williams' featured a deep-V, both dresses share long glamorous trains and twisted fabric detailing. Both leading ladies even rocked a similar beauty plan -- gently pulled back blonde tresses paired with scarlet red lips.

So, who do you think reigned supreme in mustard? Leave a comment with your vote!
