Carrie Underwood at Super Bowl 2010

Carrie Underwood sang the national anthem at the Super Bowl 2010 game.
The altar-bound country girl wore her sparkly new engagement ring (naturally), along with an all-white outfit of a different kind: A Rock & Republic cropped "Cary" jacket ($298 at the R&R signature store on Robertson in Los Angeles) and matching white pants.
Not many people can pull off tight white pants, but Underwood's notoriously strict diet and workout plan has clearly made it possible. But did you love the look fashion-wise?

I thought that Evel Knievel's long lost daughter had gotten up to sing. The only thing missing was the red, white, and blue helmet. She did sound pretty, though, until she lost her key on one of the closing bars.

I am a fan of Carrie Underwood, but she did not do a great job on the anthem. She was flat more than once. I was disappointed because so many people really murder the anthem and I thought that she would do a great job. Oh well, she looked great and does sing great, just not last night.

She looked beautiful as usual. She did miss a couple notes on key but so much noise could anyone be better?

I agree that she did not do as good singing the National Anthem as I thought she would have. She looked pretty , love the jeans, but the shoes were really ugly, looked like cartoon feet.

didn't care for the outfit, especially those white stripper shoes--but thought her singing was great. sure she missed a couple of notes (especially that last one), but compared to the way most murder it, she was fabulous!

I liked it. It reminded me of an Elvis jumpsuit, except Carrie is think and Elvis was getting a bit chunky, when he went to the jumpsuits.

Everything was horrible--the singing, the Elvis white jumpsuit and the clown shoes. She has done better jobs singing and while she started off as a tacky dresser, she had apparently been listening to someone's advise the last couple of years--too bad she gave them the day off.

Considering it was a live performance, she did quite well.
The outfit, on the other hand, left a bit to be desired.
Not sure why women wear that style of heel. Unflattering.
Not many people can pull off singing that song with such force, and clarity.
She pulled it off.

Carrie is one of the finest singers ever . She almost makes me want to go " country " . Ms. Underwood looked perfect -of course the outfit was over-the-top--as is the whole Superbowl event !
The Miami stadium is very difficult place to sing live so Carrie did a great job ! What a blessing she is !

While I'm certainly a Carrie Underwood fan, she did hit some FLAT notes on the anthem. It's ok, she still did much better than a lot of singers. At least you know SHE was singing. It wasn't a Millie Vanilli performance.
The outfit was OK, not her best by far, and I have to agree, the heels have to go. Not only do they look bad, but the star clearly has difficulty walking in them.
AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS NOTICED THIS?
On every show that she has been on, she prances around like she has gum on the bottom of her shoes! Honey if you can't walk in them, don't wear them. It looks so silly. Take a note : WEAR FLATS or TENNIS SHOES. Something you can walk in. You can dress up and wear designer clothing, but if you can't walk in the shoes, the whole look is cheap!

Is it just me or was she trying to look like Elvis?

Carrie looked as beautiful as always. I'm glad she kept the anthem traditional and didn't "Black" it up like some artists do. Too bad she missed a couple of notes but she's only human.

Looks like Carrie could still stand to lose a couple of pounds off of the thighs.

She looks great with anything on. And she always sounds great whatever it is she is singing.

Carrie could wear nothing and still look good.
