After David Letterman officially announced that Brooklyn Decker is the 2010 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition cover girl last night, the Ohio beauty has had a whirlwind morning.

Decker tweeted this morning that she has already completed rounds with the "Today" show and was off to CNBC.

As for her winning cover shot, Brooklyn is barely holding onto her itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polka-dot bikini by Delfina. (The multi-strand necklaces by Lana Jewelry and Camilla Dietz Bergeron and beaded bracelets by Sydney Evan weren't exactly intended for extra coverage.)

Lensman Walter Iooss, Jr, who has captured everybody from Tyra Banks and Heidi Klum to Kathy Ireland and Cheryl Tiegs for the magazine, shot Decker's cover story in gorgeous and secluded Maldives.

"Our readers will enjoy the many surprises in the latest installment of this renowned franchise," said SI Group Editor Terry McDonell.

"This year's Swimsuit issue features both familiar faces and exciting newcomers and photography that fans have come to expect, transporting them to a new array of exotic locations."

McDonell wasn't kidding. This year's issue is once again jam-packed with beautiful ladies posing on the most exclusive beaches. Along with the well-ogled body painting series, there will also be a "Dancing With the Stars" spread featuring Cheryl Burke and Chelsie Hightower and an Olympics-inspired scantily clad athlete special.

Despite passing along her cover girl status, Bar Refaeli is back in fine bikini form, along with models Julie Henderson, Jessica White and Anne V.

Then there are the fresh faces: John Legend's girlfriend Christine Teigen, Dominique Piek, Genevieve Morton, Julie Ordon, Zoe Duchesne and Sonia Dara.

And just in case that wasn't enough, Sports Illustrated's specially dedicated Swimsuit Edition Website is launching a multimedia platform today with over 1,400 photos and 100 videos of the swimsuit models.

The issue will no doubt be front and center on newsstands starting tomorrow.

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model or not, Brooklyn Decker hasn't let fame get in the way of her charity work.
