Sarah Jessica Parker could not have been sweeter as she worked the crowd at the Halston Fall 2010 Fashion Week presentation. The "Sex and the City" star recently signed a deal to design for Halston Heritage, the house's secondary line, which specializes in looks based on the brand's deep and storied archives. Parker has been the face of Halston since September.

The actress arrived at New York City event space Stage 37 wearing a shiny metallic Halston top -- a loose belted three-quarter length sleeve number which made her look as lovely as a gold foil-wrapped truffle on Valentine's Day.

Her team waved off the swarm of reporters vying to talk to the star, giving all press interviews the red light. But, like a good hostess, Parker spoke freely to guests and even posed for pictures with fans.

She reminisced about the first time she wore Halston -- probably back in her Studio 54 days -- thinking that the look was likely borrowed from a friend. These days, however, Parker can borrow directly from the designer, and we're excited to see what she does with the brand!
