Blake Lively: Style Evolution

HuffPost Social Reading

It's hard to remember Blake Lively pre-Serena Van Der Woodsen. But before "Gossip Girl," the blonde beauty had her breakout role in "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants," alongside America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn and Alexis Bledel.

Since her first red carpet appearance in 2005-- in shorn denim and a tight tee -- she's emerged to become a Vogue cover girl, Chanel ambassador and all-around stylish sophisticate. In honor of her 24th birthday today, take a peek at her most memorable looks.

I'm trying to figure out exactly who Blake Lively is and why I should care?
01:11 PM on 08/25/2011
Um...explain again why this is news, 'cause I must have missed it the first time around. So this chick showed some skin; how does that make her any different from any of the rest of the pack lurking in Hollywood these days? Nasty looking pointy-toed heels paired with ripped, rolled-up jeans ( BIG yuck!) do not a "stylish sophisicate" make.

As an esthetician I always have women asking what they can do about their wrinkles. I always tell them about the Pure Collagen Facial Serum ( HTTP://tinyurl.com/FaceliftSerum ) which is America's number one anti-aging serum. It erases wrinkles and lip lines, reduces under eye circles, and boosts collagen production. It's much better, safer, and less expensive than Botox. They always come back to tell me how great it is and how much younger they look. It’s a great product and I back it up 100%.

It seems like it's always blacks who are never represented enough, but what about Asians? Native Americans (especially!)? Hispanics? What about THEM? No one ever complains about that.

Right, people should complain about the lack of all non-white representation in pop culture.

She's very pretty, but it's those mile long legs that set her apart. Va-va-va-voom!

Life is not fair. I am a MALE and hence need to work HARD at a real job to earn a living, not just show some skin. Life is not fair.

I have ALWAYS thought Blake was SO pretty! And I think what's really nice is she usually looks natural and seems comfortable with herself. Those are good qualities. I wish I have the $$ she does to have the wardrobe options she gets, but alas, I try to STAY STYLISH without spending a fortune. http://tiny.cc/t8hbm is full of easy ideas and TONS of Free products to try!
