The Great American Road Trip: Cape Cod

We've made it up the east coast (slightly ahead of Hurricane Irene), and we're stopping in Cape Cod for one of the last weekends of summer. (The Obama camp are summering nearby on Martha's Vineyard, which was part of the appeal.) We'll start the day with a tour around the macabre writer and artist Edward Gorey's former home turned museum. Then we're off for a late lunch of lobster rolls and Sam Adams (the local Boston brew) at The Squire, a quaint restaurant and pub in Chatham (one of the small towns that makes up Cape Cod). Afterward, we'll sail over to Nauset Light Beach to check out Three Sisters -- a set of three historic lighthouses built in the early 1800s.
