Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen Visit Honduras With TOMS (EXCLUSIVE VIDEO)

HuffPost Social Reading

This past July, to celebrate the recent collaboration for The Row, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen joined TOMS and TOMS Giving Partner, World Vision, in Honduras to give new shoes to children in need. Along with a group of volunteers, Mary-Kate and Ashley visited three different communities outside of Tegucigalpa, where they visited classrooms and played soccer with the kids. Mary-Kate says of the experience, "...it's really taught me a little bit more about myself and how I can be more affectionate and loving, and how putting a smile on a kid's face, well.. there's nothing like it." Check out their experience in the video above.

I think it is good for them to get outside themselves and see the world beyond fame, anorexia and being the cute little twins on TV. They are truly lovely without the makeup, but they are even lovlier here, helping these children and smiling at the love so freely given by children. Hooray for them.

They really do look different without all the raccoon eye makeup.

OMG! THIS IS INCREDIBLE! Last month (july) someone told me they had seen Mary-Kate and Ashley in Tegucigalpa but I had no idea they were here with TOMS!
I'm Honduran and this has been my dream, for TOMS to come and help the marginalized children here. I have tears in my eyes! I hope that TOMS keeps supporting Honduras and the whole world as well. HUGE thanks Toms!

I am glad to see Mary Kate and Ashley are enjoying it and showing their real smiles. It's great to see the little children happy too.

It is always nice when white people help other races in need and especially their offspring.

They are so much prettier when they don't have makeup on and when they are smiling.

I believe this is the first time I've ever seen either one of them smile. And that's a damn shame.

Eat. A. Sandwich.

Skeletons with moleskin stretched over them. I've never been more homosexual than at this moment.

I also, can't believe they are smiling, and giving shoes to people in need. Never thought they were charitable.
