Alexa Chung vs. Twiggy: Seeing Double

Alexa Chung has more than a few things in common with Twiggy: both are English models known for their long, gangly limbs and signature haircuts. On Harper's Bazaar's October 2011 cover, Chung demonstrates another similarity to Twiggy: her dramatic lower lashes. Photographed by Ellen von Unwerth, Chung's cover of "The British Issue" is reminiscent of Twiggy's signature look. What an appropriate way to pay homage to her roots!

Pathetic, HP. You could have drawn Twiggy-styled lower lashes on a warthog and it would have been more entertaining. Keep it up and nobody will read HP.

Don't see a resemblance except the forced copy of her lashes.

Twiggy is amazing, the other pretty, but points to Twiggy.

That's a huge stretch.

Just because she paints on some botton eyelashes doesn't de facto turn her into Twiggy.

She doesn't have anywhere clost to the instant appeal of Twiggy.

The only resemble I see are the long thick lower lashes and those are cosmetically enhanced. The shape of their eyes is different, the mouth is different and I think this is a very poor analogy. Come on HP, you are really stretching things lately in an effort to publish so called articles of interest.
