Salma Hayek: Front Row Style (PHOTOS)

HuffPost Social Reading

Best known for films like Frida, her out-of-control body and her super-rich husband, Francois-Henri Pinault, Hayek is also a force to be reckoned with in the wardrobe department. To celebrate the Mexican-American actress' 45th birthday, we decided to take a look back at some of her style hits (and misses). We know she'll be at Gucci, YSL and Alexander McQueen but we're hoping to see her in the front row at Rodarte, Marc Jacobs and Alexander Wang...

You should check your info before writing about Salma...she is not Mexican-American...she is Mexican and she was born in Veracruz, Mexico...she actually starded as a TeleNovela ( soap opera) actress and moving into Indie movies later on. She then crossed over and this is where she's at the moment...being called Mexican-American

In the top of making her Mexican-American, who she is not. They subtly locate her 'persona' as a poor Mexican that made to Hollywood and then got a rich husband like a social climber or a gold digger. Wrong: She came from one of the richest families in Veracruz, she born a millionaire from a Mexican-Lebanese father and a Mexican mother and came to Hollywood after a successful career in Mexican soap operas and with the full support ($$$$$$$) of her family. So marrying a millionaire is what it's expected for a beautiful little sweet Mexican girl of her class.

She wore a skin colored bra under that top. It's still not a flattering look. It looks cheap and not very attractive.

What is AOL's problem??? Don't you folks have updated pictures of people?? If you take a picture of me 10 years ago, I might be wearing things I wouldn't wear now. Stop raiding the archives and stay in the present or make sure your headings say...look at these old pictures we dug up because nothing new is happening in the world!!!

The town I live in has 50% more women than men. Most of them look better than Selma due in part to proximity to Universal Studios, etc. You would think this is desireable, but it's a mess. I can't go into a bar and get a drink. In couple of minutes two very attractive women will be going at it cause one thought I looked at the other one, and at the time all I wanted was a drink. Then I have to cut out of there fast. Sometimes they get mad at me and try to beat the cra_ out of me and all I did was sit down. HEY!!!.. .Al-
