Exclusive Photos: Lara Stone's Editorial From V Magazine's Elizabeth Taylor Inspired "Heroes" Issue

V Magazine's "Heroes" themed September issue is going all out. Not only did the magazine hire Carine Roitfeld and Mario Testino to collaborate on a 72-page Elizabeth Taylor inspired editorial, V has also hired top models for the occasion like Stephanie Seymour, Baptiste Giabiconi and, of course, Lara Stone. What a dream team.

It's nice to see a woman looking feminine and sexy, well groomed and put together. She doesn't look like Liz and that is not the intent of the statement. It's her styling, the makeup, the hair, the jewelry, the feminine sexy clothes.

The lower jaw jutting out thing is a soft-core porn convention of recent years. Beautiful women of bygone eras (even Marilyn) didn't do that weird "rawr" facial posing. Yes, I'm old :-) Maybe it's supposed to be sexy, idk, or edgy?
I just got a look of that and thought "yeah, right." She's a pretty girl, but I only see a void.

I have to clarify the Marilyn statement: more than anyone she was supposed to exude raw sexuality - but it was never over the top. And my initial comment was just about the photo on the original link from the hp fp.

Off topic, but her violet eyes reminds me of my first discovering quite vividly that I dream in color. I dreamed Liz Taylor picked me up while I was hitchhiking and all I could think about was how violet her eyes were in my dream.
