NYC Hot Spots: Where the Fashion Flock Goes

HuffPost Social Reading

We may be busy during fashion week, but we will still need to eat (and drink). Here is a map of where you might find fashion's finest this week:

Lincoln Center may not be known for its food, but this fashion week we will be hitting up: Luke’s Lobster (426 Amsterdam Avenue), Bar Boulud (1900 Broadway), The Leopard at des Artistes (1 West 67th Street), Lincoln Ristorante at Lincoln Center (142 West 65th Street) and Café Fiorello (1900 Broadway) to keep our blood sugar at an appropriate level.

If you find yourself in need of a snack near Milk Studios grab a vegan shake at One Lucky Duck in the Chelsea Market (75 9th Avenue), some coffee from the Van Leeuwen Artisan Ice Cream Truck truck, a light lunch at Café Gitane at the Jane Hotel (113 Jane Street), an ice cream sandwich from Coolhaus under the highline or a meal at Fedora (239 West Fourth Street). If you are feeling adventurous- take a step out of your way to try some of the tasty food at The Dutch (131 Sullivan Street) or have a bite at Anna Wintour's favorite, Miss Lily's (132 West Houston Street).

It wouldn't be fashion week without fashionable parties. This season, the Standard Hotel is bringing back the infamous Boom Boom Room (848 Washington Street) which is sure to be a hit (again). Otherwise, The Westway (75 Clarkson Street), a former strip club, the Mondrian Soho (9 Crosby Street), The Ace Hotel (20 West 29th Street) and Kenmare (98 Kenmare Street) are sure to have some wild times.

If you have time to shop (who can't find a little time), try Nicola Formichetti (57 Walker Street) or Missoni for Target's (1095 Avenue of the Americas) pop up shops. If you are looking for something more permanent, check out the opening of Surface to Air (27 Mercer Street), Tory Burch's flagship (797 Madison Avenue), Alexander Berardi's first boutique (174 Prince Street) and new Norwegian boutique With & Wessel (247 Elizabeth Street).

Now that you have a map, its time to hail a cab and get moving!

One of the biggest nights in fashion is here and the accessories-based line Theodora and Callum will be in the midst of it all at The Standard Hotel in New York City tonight. To celebrate Fashion’s Night Out, Theodora & Callum will be having a pop up shop that will showcase their signature printed scarves for your after-hours shopping needs. Stop by The Standard from 7-11 p.m. to have a glass of wine or champagne, mingle with the models and meet the faces of this eclectic line. To make sure you don’t miss out on any of the action, be sure to follow and like Theodora & Callum. Feel free to share this exciting event with your viewers.
