What did you think of the show? I thought it was brilliant, I like people who design women’s clothes that look really wearable – no one’s being tortured. I like the way the models stomped past in those gorgeous shoes.

Would you ever walk on the runway?
I’m too short!

Not if you wear high enough heels...
Yeah maybe, I don’t know if they make heels that high!

You wouldn't believe the discrimination against extremely petite girls/people. I'm 4'10" and have lived with it all of my life. Throw in being very well endowed since Jr. High and you have a double whammy. Yeah, I know that tall people, overly thin/obese people, etc..get their share, too, but in regards to women....if you wear anything bigger than a size 6, smaller than a C cup, and are shorter than 5'5", you're made to feel undesireable by society.

My sis is around 5'6=5'7 and very beautiful. She modeled catalogues, but was considered too short to for the runway. I think the pref height for runway is 5'9-6'0 for women and 6'1-6'2 for men. Anyone taller or shorter has limited options in modeling. What's intersting about the modeling industry is that many of those agents picking the models wouldn't meet their own standards of beauty if they were being critiqued.
