HAIR: Lead hairstylist Leon Gorman for Redken wanted to keep the girls' hair simple, yet modern. "The more messy it is, the better. I don't want it to look like a hairdresser has touched it," he said.
To break down greasy strands, Gorman sprinkled on baby powder or spritzed with dry shampoo. Then he created a side part and swap back hair into a relaxed, off-center chignon. To finish, Redken Fashion Work 12 Versatile Working Spray was used to wet roots towards the crown.
MAKEUP: Maybelline makeup artist Andy Koh set out on a mission to create clean, fresh faces with a touch of '70s glamour. He started with two Maybelline Fit Me Foundations: a light shade on the T-Zone area and darker tone to sculpt so models would appear "more beautiful" on the runway. Koh went retro with Maybelline Pedal to the Metal metallic eyeshadows, brushing gold across the lids and lower lashline and copper to define the crease. A natural flutter was perfected by cleaning off the mascara wand before sweeping Maybelline Falsies Volum'Express through lashes. Maybelline Color Sensational High Shine Lipstick in Coral Lustre topped with a dab of gold cream shadow completed the look.
