THE INSPIRATION: The women of Saigon during Colonial Vietnam.

MAKEUP: To complement the array of beige, black, coral and turquoise shades found in Rachel Roy's Spring 2012 collection, makeup artist Bobbi Brown took the natural route. "Rose gold creates the perfect neutral for any skin tone," said Brown. "It also happens to be both my and Rachel's favorite shade of gold."

The makeup maven prepped models' faces with Bobbi Brown Cosmetics Vitamin Enriched Face Base. Then she cleared up any imperfections with Creamy Concealer and Corrector before brushing on Bronzing Powder. Cheeks glowed thanks to Uber Beige Pot Rouge (Neon & Nudes Collection, available Spring 2012). Brown kept the brows natural, simply grooming with a brush. She swept Rose Gold Shimmer Wash Eye Shadow (Rose Gold Collection, available Spring 2012) on lids and Copper Long-Wear Cream Shadow (Miami Summer Collection, available Spring 2012) into the crease. Eyelashes were darkened with Intensifying Long-Wear Mascara (Long-Wear Collection, available Spring 2012). To finish the look, Brown dressed lips in Uber Beige Lip Color (Neon & Nudes Collection), a nudish-pink hue.

HAIR: Working alongside his longtime client and friend, hairstylist Ted Gibson sought inspiration from the masculine and feminine elements within Roy's collection. "I didn't want it to be too literal because it is Asian-inspired, but I did want it to have a quirkiness to it," Gibson told Stylelist.

He applied Ted Gibson Fix It Styling Gel before blow-drying hair. Then he made a clean, side-part and pulled hair back before twisting and braiding pieces into a low chignon. To finish, Gibson added a big silver barrette and spritzed on Beautiful Hold Hairspray.

"What's great about this hairstyle is that it's something that women can do at home as they tend to put their hair up a lot. But if you can think of a different way to do it, you're set!" Gibson added.
