Model Jessica White On Her Tattoos And Fashion Week Diet (WATCH)

HuffPost Social Reading

What's it really like to be a model during New York Fashion Week?

Catwalk queen, and all-around style maven, Jessica White gives us an insider's view of the creative chaos behind the scenes. "I'm such a robot when it comes to work," she reveals.

In the video below, White discusses her NYFW regimen, which includes eating mostly fish despite being a "meatatarian."

She likens the process of putting together a fashion show to creating "a painting that takes a very long time."

Watch the interview to find out White's favorite part of fashion week, and the meaning behind one of her tattoos.

I wonder which two talented models were denied their jobs when the Kardashian family pimped out their little wanabe, spoiled brat teenagers-

I'm 58 and never would have given a thought to getting a tattoo. We have evolved, well some of us, from a total aversion to curiosity. I never in my entire life would have marked up my body with such nonsense. In the back of my mind, I see God turning me away for debasing his temple. And I feel sorry/bemused at people who take this art? to the limit. But, I've been thinking of getting a tattoo. Something small, colorful going around my wrist with my "heart" on my sleeve message. I want my two granddaughter' first initials in hearts and flowers. My second thoughts pertain to what do I tell them? Grandma has lost it? Will this lead to them obtaining them later in their lives. Isn't that their prerogative? I also NEED a small red arrrow in the crook of my arm to point out my only available vein. (I've awakened with i.v.s in my feet.) Body Piercings? Too stupid and ugly

The real story is simply that she is an idiot. I believe in evolution, and can't wait till society gets over this hump of the tattoo fad. Repulsive and perplexing. Not only do I not see any attraction whatsoever, I am usually so repulsed I can't look.

People have been getting tattoos and body piercings for thousands of years; as a symbol of belonging, or as a right of passage. So tattoos, I am afraid to inform you, are not just a passing 'fad'.
