New York Fashion Week Spring 2012 Beauty Trends (PHOTOS)

HuffPost Social Reading

We just wrapped up another season at Fashion Week, and (per usual) the beauty looks were all over the board: From dripping wet hair at Alexander Wang to Vincent van Gogh-themed eye makeup at Rodarte to more than a couple Elizabeth Taylor references (Chris Benz and Altuzarra, specifically). Click through the gallery below for seven of the most standout beauty trends from New York Fashion Week Spring 2012.

I hope this is not of what is to come. Some of these trends are down-right ugly. looks like they just rolled out of bed or got caught in a rain storm.

After viewing some of these photos, I'm thinking that they should really take the word, "Beauty" out of beauty trends. Some of these pics are quire scary!

EEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Halloween....sci-fi-what are these people on? Get back to pretty, gorgeous and beautiful..Way back in the 1960's hair burners joked they could mess up a womens hair and send her out looking idotic, as though the hair had never been brushed out or brushed period..The looks on these models are AWFUL. The King in naked as the day he was born-whistle blower here. NO man would want a female looking like what is represented in the above sampling-high price only represents money no taste, no sense of style, no culture - boring ---NEXT!
